Persuasion doesn’t badger, bully, or bamboozle.
It doesn’t flatter, confuse, or obscure meaning.

Rather, as The Persuader Copywriter, I harness the
emotion and clarity of lucid, empathetic storytelling
to inspire action and build trust with every carefully
chosen word.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch
a business. Or maybe you want to turn a hobby into
something more lucrative. Perhaps you have a creative
project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way
you tell your story online or in print can make all the
difference.

That’s where I come in. I help creative professionals
like you amplify their voices by crafting persuasive,
authentic copy delivered in a friendly and approachable
tone.

I’m here to help you pitch your message in exactly the right
way to inspire action.
In short, my straightforward promise
to you is:

Your Voice - Powerfully, Persuasively Written.

About me

Hi I’m Dzifa, a copywriter, journalist and a creative writing professional. At heart, I’m a storyteller who loves crafting compelling narratives that captivate audiences. This has taken many forms:

Website copy for interior designers, architects and theatre companies. Tone of voice positional statements for fashion designers, events companies and talent managers. Press releases for entertainment PR consultancies and live literature producers. Social media management for hairdressers, organic skincare purveyors and corporate social responsibility keepers.

I’m also an arts journalist, poet and playwright whose byline appears in the Financial Times, the Telegraph, the Guardian and the Times Literary Supplement among other international publications. I’ve interviewed everyone from Hollywood stars to musicians, directors and writers. Muck Rack has a list of all my newspaper articles.

I hold an MA in Text & Performance from Birkbeck, University of London and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and have designed and ran workshops in schools and universities as well as in community participatory contexts. As such, I can bring a vivid imagination, a strong command of language, versatile storytelling and high calibre expertise to empowering all kinds of creative professionals through the medium of words.

My Services

  • Want to work together? If so, the following are the seven simple steps we’ll take together in order for me to create great copy for you.

NB: Every project is different and the cost depends on complexity, the research involved, how quickly you need the web content and any meeting time with designers and developers.

  • Drop me a line with a summary about your project and I’ll give you a very rough idea of what I’ll charge. If we’re in agreement, we’ll crack on with creating a brief and timeline for the project. To do this, I’ll need to thoroughly understand your objectives. It means I’ll ask you lots of questions about the project, about your business and about your audience. I might even send you a questionnaire just to make sure I capture all the nuances of your business and what you want to achieve.

  • Having grasped all aspects of the project and understood your needs, I’ll send you a quote stating how much I’ll charge you for the project which means that you’ll know exactly what you’re paying for the entire project. This covers:

    – Research
    – Writing the first draft
    – Two sets of revisions
    – Final proofread

  • Once you give the go ahead, I’ll send you email confirmation of the project brief, the timeline and the price. By agreeing to work with me, you agree to my terms and conditions which you’ll find on my website and which I’ll send to you by email too. I will ask for a 50% deposit before I start work, 40% after the second revision and the final 10% 14 days after completion.

  • At this point, I’ll dig into the nuances of understanding your business and audience. I aim to understand your needs thoroughly so that I can craft a clarified and compelling message that will be irresistible to your customers.

  • Once I’ve put an initial draft together I’ll send it to you for feedback. I want to do the best possible job for you so I appreciate your constructive criticism ahead of the two revisions included within the project quote.

  • I’ll proofread the final draft, checking to make sure everything is as it should be before signing off on the project.

  • Once everything is complete, I’ll send you an invoice for the remaining 10% of my fee. Payment is due within 14 days.
